- Finally, copy these rules onto your post.
1. What Hogwarts house do you think the Sorting Hat would place you in?
Well on Pottermore, I got sorted into Gryffindor. However, I'm a mix of both Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. If I were to go to Hogwarts and be placed under the Sorting Hat, though, I personally think I would be sorted into Ravenclaw. I have some pretty strong traits in Hufflepuff, but I think the traits in Ravenclaw would be slightly stronger.
2. What is your all time favourite film and why?
Arghhh this is such a hard one! I really adore Toy Story. But the Harry Potter series has always and will always be my all time favourite film series (and books). So I'm probably going to have to go with.. The Prisoner of Azkaban. I really love this one because to a lot of other Potterheads, this is their least favourite film. But that's exactly why I love it! and also because Sirius.
3. What are you most looking forward to about autumn/fall?
Well, being in Australia, it's winter here at the moment, so very soon it will be spring. So I'm going to change autumn to spring and say that I'm looking forward to the warmer weather. We've had some pretty cold days/weeks here during winter (although nowhere near as cold as somewhere that snows), so I'm looking forward to being able to go outside and enjoy the sun!
4. If you could be any animal, what animal would you be and why?
This is a tricky one! there are a few animals I'd like to be to be honest - I'd like to be a bird so that I could fly around easily and go wherever I wanted. I'd also like to be a turtle because they're just super cool and have long lifespans. I'd also like to a dog because I adore dogs!
5. What's the last book that you read?
I think the last full book I've read was The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
6. List three things that have made you smile today.
My first thing is coming from last night, because it was such a good night.
1. Hanging out with a girl I haven't seen since school and being able to hug her after the many times I've said I wanted to.
And from today
2. Something really lovely that my youth leader said about me
3. Seeing and patting her adorable little dog
7. Are you a ketchup/tomato sauce person?
Nooo. Ew. I much prefer BBQ sauce!
8. What is one thing that you've learned since your last birthday?
I'm still learning every day that lots of people are different to me - they may not have the same interests as me, or they may not be as thoughtful as to strike up a conversation. Or maybe they're not as people-oriented, in the sense that you may be there for them in times of need, but they may not always be there for you.
9. Is there a language that you would love to learn?
Well at the start of this year, I started learning Italian (online), so I would like to get back to that at some point.
10. How has your life changed compared to where you were five years ago?
My life has changed dramatically over the past 5 years.
5 years ago, I was in my second last year of high school, kinda freaking out about where my life was going, in terms of what I would do once I finished school. But at the same time, during school, your life doesn't have much direction, because you just go to school and go to classes and do your assignments and whatnot. However, there were things like choir and the school musical and show band that I was involved with that I no longer do (as in, I'm not involved with a local city choir or anything). So in a way, I'm kind of more shy than I was back in school.
However, at the same time, I have direction in my life - studying primary education at uni to become a teacher one day - and I feel I'm more confident when it comes to girls and dating, not that I've had many girlfriends or gone on many dates.
Here are my 10 questions:
1. If you could travel to any place in the world, without the worry of money, where would you go?
2. Is there somewhere you've travelled that you would keep going back to?
3. Do you have a favourite series or books and/or movies? If so, what is it?
4. What is something that you are passionate about?
5. Which celebrity would you most like to meet?
6. Is there something that you collect?
7. Thinking back to your childhood, what is ONE thing you remember fondly?
8. Is there a family member or a friend that you couldn't live without?
9. What is one of the most enjoyable things you've been a part of?
10. What is something you wish you could do, but are too scared to do it?
Unfortunately for me, being a blogger who kind of keeps to himself, I don't really know any other bloggers. So I don't have anyone to tag to keep this going. However, if you read this and want to give it a go, then I urge you to do so! It is a lot of fun! :D
If you do give it a go, I would really appreciate it if you perhaps commented on this post (or another post) and sent me a link to your answers.
